34 THOUSAND 985 STUDENTS, TRANSFERRED FROM THE EARTHQUAKE REGION TO OTHER PROVINCES, RETURNED TO THEIR HOMETOWNS

Minister of National Education Mahmut Özer noted that with the opening of schools in the disaster area and the start of education, life in the region began to normalize. He stated that 34 thousand 985 students who were transferred from the earthquake zone to other provinces returned to their hometowns.

The opening of schools and the normalization of education in ten quake-hit provinces by the Ministry of National Education contributes to the normalization of life in the region.
 
Making a statement regarding the education and training processes in the ten quake-hit provinces, Minister of National Education Mahmut Özer said that life returned to normal with the spirit of mobilization in the disaster area and the opening of schools as soon as possible by using all the means of the state. Minister noted that 34 thousand 985 children transferred to other provinces after the earthquake have returned to their schools.
 
Stating that all opportunities were mobilized in the disaster area for children to reunite them with their schools, Özer noted that 9 thousand 153 students returned back to Kahramanmaraş, 6 thousand 675 to Hatay, 6 thousand 617 to Gaziantep and 3 thousand 829 to Malatya, 3 thousand 188 to Adıyaman, 1 thousand 893 to Adana, 1 thousand 417 to Osmaniye, 1 thousand 32 to Şanlıurfa, 998 to Diyarbakır and 183 students transferred back to Kilis in line with their demands.
