MASKS AND CLOTH BAGS PRODUCED BY THE VOCATIONAL HIGH SCHOOLS ARE EXPORTED TO 10 COUNTRIES

Medical masks and cloth bags produced in the textile workshop of the Denizli Osman Aydınlı Vocational and Technical High School are exported to approximately 10 countries.

The Clothing Production Technology Department of the Denizli Osman Aydınlı Vocational and Technical High School started to produce medical masks for public offices and agencies at the beginning of a new type of Coronavirus pandemic.
 
Due to increasing demand, the smaller workshop at the school was moved to a 186 square meter bunker. After the purchase of recent technology textile machines, daily mask production of the school reached 5,000 and students also started to produce multi-purpose cloth bags.
 
Recently, students produced masks for domestic and foreign markets and production capacity was doubled.
 
The turnover of the workshop was 3 million 729 thousand liras in 2020, it was 2 million 464 thousand liras last year and reached 634 thousand in the first two months of this year.
 
Volunteer students under the direction of master trainers as well as graduates of public education centers are producing the masks and bags and recently their products have been exported to approximately 10 countries.  
 
In addition to bags and masks, the workshop of the school also produces vaccination aprons and baby towels.
