MINISTER ÖZER ALONG WITH CHILDREN VISITED ATATÜRK'S MAUSOLEUM ON APRIL 23

Minister of National Education Mahmut Özer and a group of children visited Atatürk's Mausoleum on the Occasion of April 23 National Sovereignty and Children's Day.

Minister of National Education Mahmut Özer, Ministry bureaucrats and children from all 81 cities of the country passed through the Road of Lions and reached the main building of Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk's Mausoleum.
 
The delegation headed by Özer placed a wreath on the Mausoleum, observed a minute's silence and then recited the national anthem.
 
Then, they visited the Independence Tower where Minister Özer wrote following to the Special Memorial Book:
 
"We are here before you in order to experience the joy and pride of April 23 National Sovereignty and Children's Day on the 102nd anniversary of the foundation of the Grand Assembly of Türkiye.
 
Our veteran parliament has been the symbol of our independence and unity since its establishment. Giving such an important day as a gift to children means we have trusted future generations for the existence and future of our country. We are aware of our responsibility and raise our children with the equal opportunities that their peers in the world have."
 
"We are working in an effort to raise our children who have high national and moral values, love their country, nation and family sincerely and as a generation who have a faith in the power and importance of national will."
 
"As the Minister of National Education, I am before you with the determination and happiness of continuing face-to-face education without interruption and seeing our children at schools on the April 23 National Sovereignty and Children's Day."
