SKILL AND KNOWLEDGE BASED SOURCE SUPPORT FOR HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS

The Ministry of National Education continues to provide source support to students in an effort to reduce learning loss during the Covid-19 pandemic. Sources based on life and basic skill activities are opened to the access of 9th grade students. Announcing that sources are opened for the use of students, Minister of National Education Ziya Selçuk said that such support will continue.

Activities are prepared according to the curriculum. There are a total of 2 thousand and 315 activities on Turkish language and literature, history, geography, philosophy, mathematics, physics, chemistry, biology, English and German classes.
 
Moreover, sources including knowledge and comprehension activities for 9th, 10th and 11th grade students were also put into service. There are 350 activities within this context.
 
Qr codes enclosed to the activities allowed students to reach the pages of related textbooks.
 
"Our support will gradually increase"  
Regarding the issue, Minister of National Education Ziya Selçuk said: "Like the whole world, we are passing through a hard time due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Due to this reason, we keep on preparing new sources in an effort to reduce the learning deficits mto the minimum. Within this framework, we shared many support packages before. Now, we are adding a new package. Today, we shared two different sources including 2 thousand and 315 activities for 9th grades students and 360 activities for 9th, 10th and 11th grade students. These supports will gradually increase. I would like to thank Deputy Minister Mahmut Özer who coordinated this process and Director General of Secondary Education and his colleagues who worked hard for this project."
