THOSE WHO SUCCEEDED IN THE CONTEST THAT COMBINES THE ENERGY OF VOCATIONAL AND FINE ARTS HIGH SCHOOLS RECEIVE THEIR AWARDS

Minister of National Education Ziya Selçuk had an online meeting with students from 81 cities who succeeded in a contest organized in the fields of music and painting as a part of the "1000 Schools in Vocational Education Project".

Fine Arts High School students got together with vocational high school students in an artistic activity organized as a part of the "1000 Schools in Vocational Education Project" designed in an effort to reinforce vocational education and reduce the success differences between schools.
 
The activity was organized after the end of online training provided by fine arts high school students to their peers enrolled in vocational and technical high schools. Students who succeeded in the contest organized within this framework received their awards. Noting that the project was a good example of peer solidarity, Minister of National Education Ziya Selçuk had an online meeting with the students who ran in the contest. Deputy Minister of National Education Mahmut Özer also shared the excitement of students during the online award ceremony.
 
Selçuk expressed his happiness to see vocational high school students showing their potential in different fields adding that, "We are aiming at seeing all of our students involved in artistic activities, becoming good audiences and listeners. Within this context, "1000 Vocational High Schools Meet in Artistic Activities" project was finalized.
 
"Volunteer students from fine arts high schools located in 81 cities displayed an example of peer solidarity under the guidance of their teachers and transferred their knowledge and information in the field of music and painting during online sessions. This activity paved the way for interaction between 92 fine arts high schools and 996 vocational and technical high schools and approximately 7 thousand technical school students attended training programs about music and painting provided by more than 1000 fine arts students. Moreover, 22 nongovernmental organizations supported this activity. I believe that this inspiring solidarity will be an example for many new projects," stated Selçuk.
 
Selçuk congratulated every student who participated in the contest and announced that the project will continue.  
 
Winners of the contest from 81 cities were awarded with laptop computers, second and third runners received tablet computers as a present.
